Daily Responsibilities Include: Set up, adjust, and maintain: Presses Luggers Comp equipment Ovens Threaders Lining machines Ensure machinery produces quality product within specifications Operate presses and related manufacturing equipment Troubleshoot mechanical issues and support production uptime Perform equipment adjustments and preventive maintenance Follow all safety procedures and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) Support continuous improvement and operational efficiency initiatives What you will need: High school diploma or GED equivalent Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability Willingness to work any shift during training You'll thrive in this role if you: Enjoy hands-on mechanical and manufacturing work Take pride in troubleshooting and equipment setup Work well in fast-paced production environments Value safety, quality, and teamwork Want long-term career stability and growth opportunities Have strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills About Silgan Closures Silgan Closures is the largest metal food packaging producer in North America and a global leader in sustainable manufacturing and packaging innovation.
