Description

This Opportunity

An internship with Syneos Health gives you the opportunity to work side by side with passionate problem solvers on powerful and fulfilling work. Our collaborative culture inspires you to learn from the expertise surrounding you and to share your own knowledge and experience with colleagues. You'll be asked to speak up and challenge the status quo - you have a voice and will be encouraged to use it. In this role, you'll learn how to build a social strategy for company accounts from the ground up! This includes everything from initial campaign ideas, to working with our creative partners, to writing and eventually reviewing analytics.

Additionally, over the summer, there will be opportunities to participate in events just for our interns: social events with other interns, career development workshops, community service projects and networking with senior leaders - just to name a few!

Responsibilities:

  • Support the PR and Marketing team with day-to-day campaign execution and content development
  • Use Canva to design on-brand social media assets, including posts, stories, carousels, and simple animations
  • Assist in refreshing the company's social media voice, helping evolve tone, messaging, and visual style across platforms
  • Complete a project focused on reimagining social content through updated copy and design concepts
  • Create and organize social media templates and visual guidelines to support consistency
  • Draft, edit, and adapt social media copy to align with brand voice and audience expectations
  • Monitor social media trends, formats, and best practices to inform creative recommendations
  • Collaborate with PR, marketing, and creative stakeholders to iterate on content ideas
  • Maintain organized files and documentation for social content and design assets

Requirements:

  • Proficiency in Canva (required)
  • Strong interest in social media, branding, and storytelling
  • Basic understanding of PR and marketing principles
  • Strong written communication skills with an ear for tone and voice
  • Creative mindset with attention to visual detail
  • Ability to manage deadlines and work independently on defined projects
Candidates must be a minimum of a Rising Junior and currently enrolled full time in Spring/Summer or Spring/Fall '26 semesters.
The Commercial Summer Intern Program runs from May 18, 2026 to July 24, 2026 and all positions will work full time (up to 40 hours per week).

The anticipated hourly rate for this position is $24-26 but may vary based on various factors such as the candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and proficiency for the role.
