We're looking for a detail-oriented Quality Assurance Technician to help ensure every part we produce meets the highest aerospace standards. In this role, you'll work closely with our Quality, Production, and Engineering teams-playing a hands-on role in inspections, problem-solving, and continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities


  • Perform first article, in-process, incoming, and final inspections on products.



  • Verify dimensions, workmanship, labeling, and compliance with blueprints and specifications.



  • Identify and report non-conformances through DMRs, RMAs, and ECRs.



  • Maintain accurate documentation (FAI reports, job travelers, Epicor/Docuware entries).



  • Support root cause analysis and corrective actions.



  • Train newer staff, assist production teams, and contribute to process improvements.



  • Uphold compliance, safety, and traceability standards across all operations.




What We're Looking For

Education: High School Diploma (required); Technical certification or Associate's degree preferred.

Experience: 1-3 years in quality inspection/assurance or related manufacturing role (aerospace experience a plus).

Skills:




  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications



  • Proficiency with measuring tools and data entry systems



  • Strong communication and teamwork skills (bilingual English/Spanish a plus)



  • Detail-oriented and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment



  • Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and stand for long periods




Preferred Qualifications


  • Certified Quality Technician (CQT) or equivalent



  • Familiarity with FAI, DMR, and ECR processes



  • Training in Lean Manufacturing, SPC, or quality tools
