Compensation

At S&C, we are dedicated to providing competitive and equitable compensation for all our team members, and we are committed to transparency in our pay practices. The estimated annual base salary range for this position is $53,710 - $67,140. Individual pay within this salary range is determined by several compensable factors, including performance, knowledge, job-related skills and experience, and relevant education or training. This role is also eligible for S&C's annual incentive plan (AIP), subject to eligibility criteria.

Are you passionate about Field Services? S&C Electric Company is seeking a dynamic individual to join our Field Services function. As a Field Service Specialist (Scheduler/Planner), you'll be crucial in ensuring smooth operations and supporting our diverse team.

Field Service (Scheduler/Planner) opportunity available at the West Palm Beach, FL Service Center with S&C Electric Company. This position is for an individual with extensive experience schedulingS&CField Service teams responsible for executing upgrades, checkouts, commissioning, troubleshooting, and repairs of S&C equipment thatareinstalled in the field. This role will work closely with the sales, project management,parts,technicalsupport,andother S&C offices/agenciestocoordinatefield services. Excellent analytical skills and a strong technical background are required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create, assign, and updateSalesForceCases& Work Orders

  • Enter RMA's and Sales Orders in Oracle.

  • Coordinate several concurrent field service requestsin a timely manner

  • Communicate with Project Managers to define job needs andidentifyrequirements/responsibilities

  • Manage customer specific operating requirements to ensure our work plan covers all Field Service & S&C needs while meeting customerexpectations(paper trail, certifications, timing etc.)

  • Available for after-hour and weekend emergency phone support, typically on a rotational basis

  • Work closely with the Global Support Monitoring Center (GSMC) to support customers' needs

Addition Functions:

  • Maintain regular and punctual attendance
  • Attend in-person or virtual meetings as requested or required.
  • Communicate effectively and respectfully with others.
  • Other responsibilities as assigned.

What you'll Need to Succeed:

Job Requirements (To select this job at a minimum you must have the following):

Required:

  • 1+ years of experience in an officeor dispatchersetting related to customer service.
  • Strong customer communication skills, both oral and written
  • Knowledge of and experience with Oraclepreferred
  • BasicMicrosoft Word, Excelwith ability to run reports and extract data, andstrong knowledge/experienceOutlook.
  • Solid writing skills including the ability to take drafts prepared by others to a final format.
  • Ability to work as part of a team in a detailed,fast paced, andcustomer-orientedenvironment.
  • Understanding ofSalesforce, or similar customer relationship management systems.
  • Experience in a customer service or fieldservice-orientedrolepreferred
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving, interpersonal,DetailedOriented,andmultitasking skills

Major Physical Demands:

  • Standing: Some tasks are performed in a standing position. Must be able to perform work from a ladder.
  • Lifting: Lifting of items up to 50 pounds.
  • Walking: Walking of moderate distances (1 mile).
  • Carrying: Carrying of luggage, test equipment, tools, etc. to customer locations.
  • Pushing: Use of hand tools that require pushing forces.
  • Pulling: Use of hand tools that require pulling forces.
  • Bending: Bending or crouching to perform work.
  • Reaching: Continuous full range of motion to perform work.
  • Handling: Frequent handling of parts, tools, test equipment, etc.
  • Environment: Frequent work performed outdoors.
