About Tolmar Human Resources

In addition to our focus on patient health and safety, Tolmar's Human Resource (HR) department is responsible for managing the employee life cycle including recruiting, hiring, onboarding, training, managing employee benefits and compensation, performance management and Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) initiatives.

Proposed Work Description

The nature of business is that priorities can shift according to the needs of the company/department. Therefore, described below is a representation of the types of work we expect this position may entail:

Purpose and Scope

Under general supervision, the OTD intern will work with the Senior Director, Organization and Talent Development and other members of the Organization and Talent Development team to design solutions that support our Mission of building People and Organizational Capability. The intern's work will focus in three primary areas of support (1) Organization Development- Supporting the design and delivery of an Enterprise-Wide Change Management framework (2) Designing and building eLearning training pathways through Tolmar's Learning Management System (LMS), the Learning Hub and (3) Collaboration with the OTD Coordinator in the delivery of solutions targeted for the 2026 Intern Cohort.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities



  • Assist with planning and executing Tolmar's Change Management framework. This may include:

    • Conduct research on Organizational Change best practices
    • Develop and analyze survey data
    • Design/deploy a knowledge management repository for Change resources and tools
    • Manage and organize Change Management materials
    • Design Change Management learning training pathways through Tolmar's LMS, the Learning Hub
    • Develop marketing strategies to support adoption of the Change Management framework
    • Create a Change Management dashboard and integrate into the OTD internal website


  • Work with OTD colleagues to create/update other learning materials for both live virtual training and eLearning (slides, job aids, eLearning content) for leaders and individual contributors.
  • Work with the OTD Coordinator to support the preparation and delivery of Intern activities.
  • Assist with other OTD initiatives occurring during the internship which may include employee experience initiatives, leadership and individual contributor (IC) development programs, and talent analytics.
  • Attend regular HR and OTD team meetings and participate in other HR team events as applicable.
  • Perform various other duties as assigned.



Knowledge, Skills & Abilities



  • Interest and/or experience in various HR functions; specifically, interest related to Talent Management, Learning and Development and Organization Development.
  • Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.
  • Ability to work as part of team and independently to complete projects and tasks as well as working remotely.
  • Proficient skills in effective oral and written communication.
  • Proficient computer skills (MS Office, Excel, Word, etc.).
  • Ability to interact with all levels of employees within the company.
  • Ability to plan, organize and prioritize work.
  • Ability to maintain confidential information and maintain a mature and discrete attitude.

Education & Experience



  • Current enrollment in a degree program in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or related field.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.



Working Conditions



  • Working conditions are normal for an office environment.
  • Limited travel may be required and must provide own transportation to report to locations in Fort Collins and Windsor.



Compensation and Benefits



  • Base rate is $19.00 per hour
