As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy retail and mall location, you will complete routine foot and vehicle patrols as a driving post, stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and support shoppers and tenants with clear communication and customer service. You will document observations, respond to incidents, and work as part of a team that reflects Allied Universal values of agility, reliability, innovation, and integrity.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and guests by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a retail mall location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with de-escalation, coordinating with mall management, and contacting emergency services when needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of common areas, corridors, entrances, loading areas, and the exterior perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential issues.
• Monitor and document security-related events such as disturbances, loitering, suspicious behavior, and/or policy violations, and communicate observations to the appropriate parties.
• Support access control at key points by observing visitor and employee traffic, providing directions, and reporting maintenance concerns such as lighting outages, door issues, and/or trip hazards.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Guard Card/License is preferred.
• Customer Service Experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
