Job Description




As a Security Officer - PT Patrol Rounds in Benicia, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a chemical and petrochemical location, you will conduct routine foot and vehicle patrols, stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and support access control and visitor screening. You will document observations, report concerns quickly, and communicate with site teams in a professional, customer focused way. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to site personnel and visitors by carrying out Allied Universal and site-specific procedures, access control practices, required documentation, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations at an industrial location in a calm, problem-solving manner, providing detailed observations to site contacts and/or responding public services as directed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, process-area perimeter roads, parking areas, gates, and other designated zones to help to deter unauthorized activity, with working environments and conditions varying by location.
  • Monitor alarms, cameras, radios, and other site systems as assigned, and report abnormal conditions, equipment issues, and security-related concerns through established notification and escalation protocols.
  • Complete security-related reports, logs, and shift handoffs, including incident reports, patrol documentation, and visitor and vehicle activity records, following site-specific policies and Allied Universal standards.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Possess a TSA Issued TWIC.
  • A State, County, or City Issued Security License is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
