Join Allied Universal at a busy retail distribution location as an unarmed patrol officer, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine foot patrols, and stay highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will support access control and visitor screening, document activity using computer and/or tablet tools, and deliver welcoming customer service. You will work with a team that is agile, reliable, and innovative, putting people first and acting with integrity.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and associates by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including completing notifications and documentation per post orders.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail distribution location, including interior areas, exterior grounds, and perimeter points; working environments and conditions may vary by site.
• Support access control at entrances, exits, and delivery or shipping areas by verifying authorization, monitoring visitor and contractor traffic, and maintaining required logs and/or reports.
• Monitor cameras, alarms, and other security-related systems as assigned, reporting suspicious activity and/or policy violations to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.
• Have customer service experience preferred.
• Have access control and/or badge experience preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
