Security Officer - Financial Site Patrol

As a Security Officer - Financial Site Patrol in Brooklyn, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a financial institution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and stay highly visible to help discourage security-related incidents. You will respond to concerns, document observations, and communicate clearly with staff and visitors while delivering strong customer service. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors at a financial institution location by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter doors to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
• Monitor access points and public areas, observe for unusual conditions, and communicate concerns to site leadership and/or responding authorities as directed.
• Respond to alarms, disturbances, and other incidents in a calm, problem-solving manner, providing assistance to staff and customers while following post orders.
• Complete required shift documentation such as patrol logs and incident reports, and report maintenance issues or hazards to the appropriate contact.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 1+ years of security-related experience.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
