As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas at a dynamic location, conducting routine rounds, staying highly visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and supporting access control and badge activity. You will communicate clearly, assist staff and visitors with a customer-first approach, and document observations using a computer and/or tablet. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting site leadership and/or local authorities as directed by post orders.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, production-related areas, parking areas and the perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify maintenance and/or policy concerns.
• Control access by monitoring entry points, verifying credentials for employees, vendors and visitors, issuing temporary badges as directed and documenting arrivals and departures per site policy.
• Monitor cameras, alarms and communications systems when assigned, complete incident and activity reports and assist with securing keys and/or equipment according to site procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 1+ years of security-related experience.
• Be at least 21+ years of age.
• Be able to lift more than 20 lbs, preferred.
• Have access control and/or badge experience, preferred.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet, preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
