What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by following Allied Universal and site-specific security-related procedures, access control requirements, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the distribution location, including exterior perimeter, parking areas, dock doors, and trailer yards, documenting observations and reporting unusual conditions.
• Monitor inbound and outbound vehicle and pedestrian traffic at gates and entry points, verifying credentials, directing drivers to designated areas, and assisting with traffic flow during peak shipping and receiving periods.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate contacts, writing clear reports, and preserving information for follow-up.
• Perform security-related rounds and checks of doors, locks, lighting, and restricted areas to help to deter unauthorized access, theft, and/or property damage.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be 21+ years of age.
• Access Control/Badge Experience is preferred.
• Comfortable Using Computer or Tablet is preferred.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
