Fortrea is seeking an exceptional Vice President to lead our global FSP global sales strategy, client relationships, and talent development. What You'll Do:

  • Lead our commercial strategy for Clinical, Data Science and Safety FSP.
  • Lead a team of Sales Specialist in support of FSP deals around the world.
  • Identify new business opportunities and drives sales growth toward achieving business objectives.
  • Develop strategies, BU sales goals and business plan to assure company achieves annual growth targets.
  • Set all sales administration policies and direction regarding budgets, sales target, sales training, incentive compensation, and performance management.
  • Establish client targeting and segmentation strategy, AE/territory assignment, and account development plans.
  • Partner with the regional sales VP's to support the local FSP partnerships in their territory.
  • Facilitate negotiation of margin and pricing discussions both internally and externally.
  • Utilizes SFDC to manage team pipeline, forecast and analyze key sales metrics.
  • Gathers and shares market intelligence and competitive information with sales team, peers and marketing.
  • Leads annual sales meeting planning in conjunction with marketing.

What We're looking for:

Education:

  • Bachelors degree in life science or business field preferred, MBA strongly preferred.

Experience (Minimum Required):

  • 15+ years in healthcare sales, marketing or related field.
  • 8 years sales management experience.
  • Experience in drug research, testing, and development in the chemical, pharmaceutical, or biotech industry a plus.
  • Advanced Industry Knowledge
  • Demonstrated client retention skills.
  • Ability to manage difficult client and/or financial situations.
  • Ability to differentiate Fortrea from competitors.
  • Strong working relationship with internal Fortrea management and site leadership.
  • Experience developing and executing strategic business plans.
  • Ability to manage and motivate client facing teams.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience in leading and presenting to executives and senior levels of the client organization.
  • Extensive global collaboration experience.
  • Highly consultative.
  • Strong customer orientation.
  • Excellent negotiation skills and demonstrated ability to influence sales decisions.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead.
  • Experience managing people.
  • Strong executive management leadership skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to inspire effective teamwork globally and motivate staff within a matrix organization.
  • Proven success in development of business segment plans and competitive positioning strategies.
  • English required, both written and oral.

Physical Demands/Work Environment:

  • Flexibility to participate in meetings across various time zones outside core working hours.
  • Occasionally working extended hours in order to adhere to client deliverable timelines or attend client meetings.
  • Travel required 40-50% per year.

Pay Range: $220,000-$300,000 (The range does not include benefits, and if applicable, bonus, commission, or equity)
