Program Analyst - Navy Undersea Weapons and Warfare Systems Support

Synchron, LLC has an exciting opportunity for a Program Analyst to provide management support to the U.S. Navy Team Submarine organization at the Washington Navy Yard in Washington, DC. We are seeking a candidate to join our team and assist the Navy in the development, procurement and sustainment of cutting-edge undersea warfare technology. You will provide direct support to the Team Submarine's PMS 404 Undersea Weapons Program Office.

Responsibilities:


  • Perform data calls, analyze inputs and provide recommendations on various Life Cycle and Logistics issues within the undersea weapons enterprise.
  • Review and quality check all outgoing documents (funding documents, spend plans, and drills).
  • Facilitate discussions and communications among stakeholders on program status and goals to improve alignment of weapons programs with DoW acquisition processes and requirements.
  • Support meetings and provide action item tracking, as well as documentation reviews for the various PMS 404 weapons programs.
  • Coordinate with Intermediate Maintenance Activities (IMA) on undersea weapons systems upkeep, forecasting, parts deliveries and maintenance practices and procedures.
  • Monitor and maintain government databases.
  • Support the development of briefings, white papers, reports, and assessments through research, document reviews, and staff coordination.
  • Support and assist in the resolution of numerous ad-hoc budget drills and parts management issues for PMS 404.
  • Coordinate with Program Office leadership and field activities to establish funding priorities.
  • Provide draft input for budget exhibits and briefs.
  • Support the formulation and review of budget estimates and requirements for new and existing initiatives.


Education and Experience:

  • 5 (five) years professional experience in analysis, operations, planning or program management support.
  • Excellent communications and analytical skills; able to meet with program officials and influence actions needed to meet program milestones.
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft 365.
  • Familiarity with the PPBE process.
  • Ability to multi-task, as well as working with tight deadlines.
  • Active Secret DoD Clearance.


Desired Education and Experience:

  • Integrated Logistics Support experience.
  • Experience with Navy Acquisition and/or In-Service Logistics Programs.
  • Demonstrated experience in ILS Management, Supply Support, Technical Design Interface, Training, Facilities, Computer Resources, Support and Test Equipment, Technical data and manpower and personnel along with the development of logistics support plans and methodologies.
  • Knowledgeable of production contracts, and Navy production management.


Work Location: Vicinity of Washington Navy Yard. Telework options for 1-2 days per week after all initial onboarding and team integration is completed (estimated 2-4 months).

Travel: Up to 10%
