Concordance Healthcare Solutions has a new and exciting opportunity for a Director, Sales & Government Contracts. We are looking for an experienced, motivated, and resourceful individual that will be responsible for managing company customer and government contracts. The Director, Sales & Government Contracts is responsible for leading and managing customer contract key performance metrics and all government contracting activities across federal, state, and local agencies. This role ensures compliance with all contractual metrics and all applicable regulations. The Director serves as the subject matter expert for customer and government contracting and acts as a key liaison between legal, sales, compliance, supplier relations, and external customer and government stakeholders. This role reports directly to the Vice President, Sales Operations & Support.

Essential Functions:



  • Develop and execute a comprehensive customer and government contracting strategy aligned with company growth objectives.
  • Oversee full contract lifecycle management, including proposal development, pricing, awards, renewals, modifications, and closeout of federal, state, local, and cooperative contracts.
  • Identify and evaluate new contracting opportunities in alignment with sales leadership; collaborate with sales leadership and pricing teams to ensure margin integrity while meeting contractual and regulatory requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations, including FAR, DFAR, and state procurement laws.
  • Maintain records of all contract documentation and reporting requirements in a prepared and auditable system.
  • Monitor contract performance and profitability and provide recommended corrective actions as required.
  • Collaborate with legal, compliance, supplier relations, pricing, accounting, and operations teams to interpret and operationalize contracts in an efficient, scalable, and profitable manner.
  • Submit timely and accurate reporting to government agencies as required under contract specifications (AbilityOne, FSS IFF, FAS annual reporting, state cooperative spend, etc.)
  • Drive continuous improvement in contract processes, enhancing internal stakeholder and customer experience.
  • Establish KPIs and reporting to measure contract performance, compliance, and financial impact.
  • Serve as the customer and government contract subject matter expert for internal teams and leadership.
  • Lead, educate, and enhance a team of customer support and contract personnel.
  • Other duties as assigned.



What You will Need to be Successful:



  • Bachelor's degree in business, finance or related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience Required: At least (10) combined years of healthcare, government, and customer contract experience.
  • Deep working knowledge of customer and federal and state government contracts (FSS, GSA, DoD, VA, state cooperative, and GPO contracts.)
  • Proven experience managing large and complex customers and contract implementations.
  • Demonstrated negotiation, analytical, written/verbal communication, and ability to speak in front of large groups.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Microsoft Excel.
  • Successfully pass a pre-employment (post offer) background check and drug screening.



Work Location:



  • This role is located in any Concordance location with the possibility of a work from home hybrid model (in office part of the week and remote part of the week).
  • This role is can also be remote.
