PostProduction Data Center Technician (L4) 6Month Contract \| Hyperscale Datacenter \| GPU & AI Infrastructure Join a rapidly scaling datacenter operations team supporting one of the highestvisibility technology initiatives in the country. Why This Role Stands Out * Work on a toppriority AI/GPU deployment project * Be part of a hyperscale environment undergoing major expansion * Strong upward mobility and conversion potential * Drive impact on cuttingedge datacenter and AI server operations * Support one of the fastestgrowing cloud infrastructures in the world Key Responsibilities Data Center Operations * Apply expert knowledge of procedures for installing, troubleshooting, repairing, and decommissioning datacenter hardware * Understand how server and network components function and interact * Complete assigned tickets efficiently and meet task KPIs and SLAs * Follow all operational standards, processes, and documentation Service Delivery * Prepare, stage, and install equipment (racks, drives, switches, cabling) using provided guides and checklists * Verify grounding, labeling, staging, and cabling meet quality and safety standards * Conduct postexecution quality checks * Perform advanced diagnostics to quickly identify rootcause issues * Decommission hardware for complex systems or fullrack changes * Ensure all decommissions meet security compliance requirements * Report and escalate incidents through the correct operational channels Work Environment & Safety * Participate in daily safety briefings and required safety training * Follow all datacenter safety standards (equipment, lifting, electrical, ladders, etc.) * Comply with security and datahandling protocols * May oversee a small team of 5-10 supplier resources if needed Top Skills Needed * 2+ years of experience supporting IT equipment or similar technologies * Previous datacenter environment experience * Strong hardware troubleshooting and Break/Fix skills * Experience with GPU or highdensity compute environments is a plus Additional Requirements * High school diploma, GED, or equivalent * Basic understanding of computer hardware components * Flexibility to work nonstandard hours, including weekends/holidays * Willingness to commute to the Fayetteville, GA datacenter location Shift Details * 12hour shifts \| 7 AM-7 PM * Rotating A/B schedule: * ASide: Sunday-Tuesday and every other Wednesday * BSide: Thursday-Saturday and every other Wednesday * L5/SME candidates may start 15-30 minutes early for priority updates Evaluation & Interview Process * Initial recruiter qualification (recorded questions) * Online technical assessment (90%+ required to advance) * 30minute technical interview with delivery/practice team Reason for Hiring This project is timesensitive and missioncritical. Additional staffing is required to meet operational deadlines and avoid significant business impact due to the scale of GPU/AI deployments. Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Fayetteville, GA. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $27.00 - $40.00/hr.
