As a Security Officer - X-Ray Checkpoint Screener in PHOENIX, AZ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Screener at a busy logistics and distribution location, you will help maintain smooth operations by conducting screening procedures, supporting access control and badge checks, and providing clear, customer-focused communication with team members and visitors. You will remain visible, document key activity, and help identify potential security-related concerns. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Screen employees, visitors, and deliveries at designated entry points by checking identification, confirming authorization, and controlling access in support of security-related requirements.
• Inspect bags, parcels, and shipments as required using available screening methods and/or equipment, and document findings according to post orders and site policy.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including reporting hazards, policy concerns, and unusual activity through the proper channels.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around dock areas, staging zones, building interior, and perimeter; working environments and conditions may vary by site.

Minimum Requirements:

• X-ray screening experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
