As a Security Officer - Manufacturing Patrol Driver - Day Shifts in Peoria, IL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. Join Allied Universal at a fast-paced manufacturing and industrial location as an unarmed Patrol Officer in a driving post. You will conduct routine patrols across the site, stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents, document observations using site technology, and support employees and visitors with strong customer service and clear communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, vendors, and employees by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an industrial manufacturing location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and actions according to post orders.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of production areas, warehouses, loading docks, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify hazards or maintenance issues for reporting.
• Monitor access points and vehicle traffic, verifying identification, logging entries and exits, and directing people and deliveries to designated locations per site policy.
• Complete routine reports, shift logs, and incident reports, and communicate relevant updates to site leadership and/or Allied Universal supervision.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
