As an unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and stay highly visible to help discourage security-related incidents. You will support access control points, document activity, and communicate clearly with staff, visitors, and responders while providing strong customer service. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with de-escalation and contacting appropriate medical staff and/or law enforcement as needed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior areas, entrances, loading and delivery areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
• Monitor access points and public areas, observe for unusual conditions, and report concerns to Allied Universal supervision and/or site leadership in a timely manner.
• Complete security-related reports and logs, document incidents and patrol activity, and communicate relevant information during shift transitions.

Minimum Requirements:

• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• CPR and/or First Aid is preferred.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
