Security Officer - Control Room

As a Security Officer - Control Room in West Point, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Auto, and more. Join Allied Universal at a fast-paced automotive location where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and maintain a visible presence that helps to deter security-related incidents. You will support daily operations by reporting concerns, assisting employees and visitors, and delivering strong customer service through clear communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at an automotive location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including documenting observations and escalating concerns through the chain of command.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, parking areas, and perimeter routes to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify maintenance, access control, and/or operational issues.
• Control access at vehicle gates and facility entry points by verifying identification, authorizations, and deliveries, and coordinating visitor check-in and directions as needed.
• Complete shift logs and incident reports and communicate clearly with site contacts and Allied Universal leadership regarding security-related concerns, policy updates, and/or post instructions.

Minimum Requirements:

• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
