You will support patients, visitors, and staff with professional customer service and clear communication, while documenting observations and reporting concerns. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare setting.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with de-escalation, reporting, and coordination with location leadership and/or emergency services as directed.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, corridors, parking areas, and perimeter routes to help to deter unwanted activity and identify hazards or access concerns.
  • Control access at designated entrances and restricted areas by observing credentials, directing foot traffic, and reporting suspicious activity per site procedures.
  • Complete security-related reports such as incident reports, patrol logs, and shift activity documentation, and communicate relevant information during shift turnover.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
