Fairfax Behavioral Health (a UHS facility): Fairfax Behavioral Health, founded in 1930, is a private, free-standing mental health hospital that specializes in psychiatric and detox treatment. For more information, please visit us at https://www.fairfaxhospital.com/ POSTION SUMMARY: DIRECTOR OUTPATIENT OPERATIONS The Director of Outpatient Operations provides strategic leadership and operational oversight for all outpatient programs across the facility's multiple locations. This role is responsible for driving program growth, enhancing patient access to care, and ensuring operational efficiency through streamlined processes and effective marketing strategies. The Director ensures all outpatient services align with organizational goals, regulatory standards, and the needs of the communities served. Working in close collaboration with the Director of Outpatient Clinical Programs, this position ensures the successful implementation, staffing, and daily operation of both inperson and telehealth outpatient services. Qualifications Education: Bachelor's Degree in a behavioral health area, marketing, business administration or related field required; Master's Degree preferred or equivalent combination of four plus years of education and experience required.
Experience: A minimum of five (5) years experience in a health care management position with extensive experience in behavioral health care by providing executive leadership over day to day operations including direct accountability to develop and execute business strategies; provide leadership for quality of care, staff development, maintenance of license and accreditations, financial performance and process improvement strategies. In addition, detailed knowledge of psychiatric and chemical dependency treatment issues. Additional Requirements: A strong knowledge of Joint Commission, CMS, OSHA regulations, and patient rights standards and all other applicable federal and state laws, regulations and State licensing governing hospitals and mental health care facilities.
