What you'll be doing...

Verizon's Consumer Wholesale organization is a high-growth engine, driving revenue and subscriber expansion through strategic MVNO distribution channels. As the Senior Manager of Network Operations, you will lead a high-impact engineering organization dedicated to the operational success of Verizon's two largest MVNO partners. You are not merely a technical lead; you are the strategic operational architect and the primary executive liaison responsible for safeguarding massive-scale revenue streams and protecting Verizon's reputation as a premier network provider.

  • Executive Operational Governance: Serve as the principal strategic point of contact and direct liaison for C-suite and VP-level executives within Verizon's largest wholesale organizations.

  • Strategic Engineering Leadership: Direct and motivate a specialized team of Senior Engineer Specialists, providing the technical coaching and performance management required to meet the sophisticated demands of top-tier partners.

  • Mission-Critical Crisis Orchestration: Act as the ultimate authority and escalation point for systemic network or provisioning failures. You will lead the "War Room" response, bypassing standard recovery protocols when necessary to implement high-impact fixes.

  • Cross-Functional Ecosystem Leadership: Navigate the organizational landscape to orchestrate synergy between Network, IT, and Device teams, ensuring internal resources are prioritized to meet strategic business objectives.

  • Operational & Digital Transformation: Influence the technical roadmap by defining requirements for enhanced network tools and provisioning systems specifically tailored to optimize the high-volume reseller experience.

  • Data-Driven Business Strategy: Leverage advanced analytics from tools like MTAS, RTT, and WFM to identify root causes and drive business decisions that minimize financial penalties and churn.

  • Autonomous Decision-Making: Exercise delegated authority to independently reallocate resources and prioritize strategic accounts during regional outages or conflicting project

What we're looking for...

Outcomes-Driven Leadership: An analytical leader who thrives in high-pressure, fast-paced environments and can deliver challenging messages to external partners with clarity and confidence. Strategic Problem Solver: Someone who digs deep into complex, multi-domain issues and trusts their judgment to make independent recommendations that protect the business. Organizational Navigator: A great teammate capable of influencing cross-functional partners (Legal, Finance, IT) to align on shared goals.

You'll need to have:
  • Bachelor's degree or four or more years of work experience.

  • Six or more years of relevant experience required, demonstrated through one or a combination of work and/or military experience, or specialized training.

  • Experience leading and managing cross-functional teams with accountability for major business initiatives.

  • Demonstrated experience in data-driven decision-making and project management under deadline pressure.

Even better if you have one or more of the following:
  • A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or Business Administration.

  • Technical proficiency with industry-standard tools: MARS, MTAS, NSP Lite/Delphi, RTT, WFM, WNP, IOP, ECHO, Airwave, DMD, Syniverse, and NeuSta.

  • Experience managing "Tier 1" channel relationships and navigating complex contract negotiations.

  • Advanced skills in G Suite and data visualization for executive presentations.
