Dealer Inventory Analyst

We are seeking an individual to become a key advisor and systems analyst, supporting our network of partners who utilize advanced inventory management applications. In this exciting and impactful role, you will be at the forefront of optimizing automated parts replenishment and integration processes, ensuring our partners can efficiently manage their inventory and meet customer demand. Your expertise will directly contribute to operational smoothness, data accuracy, and the continuous improvement of our systems, making a tangible difference in the daily operations of numerous businesses.

**What You'll Do:**

* Serve as a primary point of contact for partner personnel regarding inventory management applications.

* Support partners in understanding and optimizing automated parts replenishment processes based on sales demand and inventory parameters.

* Monitor and troubleshoot daily data transmissions from partner management systems to corporate platforms.

* Review, interpret, and validate inbound and outbound data files, including sales, inventory, and order data.

* Utilize advanced querying tools to investigate data issues and verify system accuracy.

* Work within technical environments to access, review, and troubleshoot partner data files as needed.

* Employ file transmission tools to ensure successful data flow between partner systems and corporate servers.

* Collaborate with internal technology teams, field personnel, and third-party system providers to resolve system or communication issues.

* Identify trends or recurring issues and recommend process or system improvements to enhance efficiency and reliability.

* Provide user education and guidance on system functionality and data best practices, empowering partners to maximize their system usage.

**Required Skills & Experience:**

* Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field - or equivalent practical experience.

* 3+ years of experience in business operations, automotive parts management, or a related corporate support role.

* Proficiency in SQL for querying and troubleshooting data.

* Experience navigating and reviewing files within a Unix environment.

* Working knowledge of message/file transmission systems.

* Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

* Ability to interpret and troubleshoot data files and transmission logs in a complex systems environment.

* Proven ability to bridge business and technical teams effectively.

**Must-Have Qualifications:**

* Strong fundamentals with databases, SQL, data mining, and basic programming background.

* Ability to communicate clearly between business teams, technical teams, and partners, thriving in a role that is a mix of technical, business, and customer-facing responsibilities.

* Understanding of parts management, including parts inventory, sales, and stocking policy experience (automotive preferred).

**Preferred Qualifications:**

* Experience with partner management systems.

* Familiarity with automotive parts replenishment or inventory control systems.

* Background in IT systems support, data integration, or business systems analysis.

* Understanding of EDI, flat file processing, or API data exchange.

**Travel:**

Occasional travel, potentially once or twice a month, may be required.
