Job Description: We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented SAP S/4HANA Functional Consultant with 5-6 years of hands-on experience to support, optimize, and enhance our SAP modules focused on manufacturing, quality control, and asset management. The ideal candidate will be a key player in ensuring our SAP S/4HANA environment supports compliant, efficient, and reliable operations in a GMP-regulated environment. This role is critical for our ongoing digital transformation and operational excellence initiatives.
- Configure, implement, and maintain SAP S/4HANA PP (Production Planning), QM (Quality Management), and PM (Plant Maintenance) modules to meet business requirements, leveraging the new capabilities and simplified data model.
- Ensure all system configurations and processes adhere to life science industry regulations (e.g., FDA 21 CFR Part 11, GxP, GAMP 5). Manage electronic records and signatures, audit trails, and lead validation activities for the S/4HANA environment.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders in Manufacturing, Quality Assurance, Supply Chain, and Maintenance to analyze requirements and design efficient, best-practice solutions leveraging S/4HANA's embedded analytics and Fiori applications.
- Manage and support integrated processes within S/4HANA, including batch management, quality inspection, preventive maintenance, and their integration with finance (CO-PC), materials management, and sales.
- Configure and support QM processes including Inspection Plans, Quality Notifications (for Complaints, Deviations, CAPA), and usage decisions. Design and implement PM solutions for calibrated equipment and maintenance plans within the S/4HANA framework.
- Lead and participate in system integration testing (SIT), user acceptance testing (UAT), and create validation deliverables for S/4HANA projects and enhancements.
- Develop user training materials for new S/4HANA processes and Fiori apps. Conduct training sessions for end-users and create detailed process documentation.
- Master data (BOMs, Routings, Work Centers), MRP, Production Orders, Process Orders, Capacity Planning, Repetitive Manufacturing.
- Quality Planning (Inspection Plans, MIC), Quality Inspection, Quality Certificates, Notification processing, Batch Management and Release.
- Equipment and Functional Location master data, Preventive Maintenance plans, Maintenance Orders, Calibration processing.
- Non-negotiable experience with GxP and validationprocesses. Must be thoroughly familiar with Computer System Validation (CSV) and relevant FDA regulations in an S/4HANA context.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Life Sciences, Information Technology, or a related field required.
- 5-8 years of hands-on experience in SAP PP, QM, and PM modules within the pharmaceutical or life sciences industry required.
- Proven track record in SAP S/4HANA implementation and rollout projects required.
- Strong understanding of xGMP compliance, Serialization, and Batch Management required.
- Expertise in Recipe Management, BOM structuring, and production process mapping required.
- Experience in maintenance planning, equipment master data, and calibration processes required.
Shift: Weekday Days, Monday-Friday Compensation & Benefits: This is an on-site, full-time position located in Spokane, WA.
- Hiring Wage: $93,800.00 - $150,000 annually depending on experience, with opportunity for growth, promotion and annual raises. Midpoint and above is reserved for employees who have longevity with Jubilant HollisterStier and consistently exhibit outstanding performance over a period of time in the role
