LeidosDigital Modernization Sectoris looking for aProjectManager (PM)to work on theArmy Global Unified Network (AGUN) - Increment 1 (INC1)program.The Global Enterprise Network Modernization - OCONUS (GENM-O) is acritical mission provider responsible for keeping the Army connected through global network modernization projects. The Army Global Unified Network (AGUN) - Increment 1 (INC1) will unify the next generation of Army transport tocomply withthe Joint Regional Security Stack (JRSS) divestiture mandate. A phased systematic approach isrequiredto provide individual sites with standardized, updated technology systems to ensure the Army's Information Technology (IT) infrastructure is equipped to provide soldiers withcutting-edgetechnology to ensure applications, data, and enterprise services are accessible, trusted, and interoperable across the globe.

Provides technical/management leadership on major tasks or technology assignments. Establishes goals and plans that meet projectobjectives. Has domain and expert technical knowledge. Directs and controls activities for a client, having overall responsibility forfinancial management, methods,schedulingand staffing to ensure that technical requirements are met. Interactions involve client negotiations and interfacing with senior management. Decision-making and domain knowledge may have a critical impact on overall project implementation. May supervise others.

Primary Responsibilities:


  • Manages all aspects ofArmymigrations to theAGUNinfrastructure.

  • Develop processes and procedures toAGUNmanage migration processes.

  • Work with customers on a daily / weekly basis to communicate the latest status and riskto the schedule.

  • Provide weekly status to the PMO as to the status of sitemigrations and riskand issues that need to be addressed.

  • Manage a team ofup to 8migration engineers to supportArmy migrations. Thisincludesassigningtasks, whileensuring that AGUNprocesses and schedulesare met ina timelymanner.

  • Works with Army,engineersand other stakeholders to resolve issues/obstaclesimpedingcompletion of tasksor that delay the schedule.

  • Work with scheduling team toplan,buildand statusmigration scheduleseachweek.

  • Schedule and Manage Authorized System Interruptions (ASIs) that will take place in the evenings. This will involve following up with an After-Action Report (AAR) after all ASI activities have been completed.


Basic Qualifications:


  • Good communications and writing skills.

  • Willrequireextendworkdaysduring ASI implementations.

  • Bachelor's degreeand 8 - 12 years of prior relevant experience orMasterswith 6 - 10 years of prior relevant experience. A combination of education and experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.

  • Demonstrated experience working within the Agile framework.

  • Project Management Professional (PMP)or equivalent certification.

  • US Citizen with a Secret security clearance.


Preferred Qualifications:


  • Prior experience working within Army's IT infrastructure.
