Job Summary

The role provides overall leadership and direction to the Inbound inside sales organization and will develop the overall strategy and steward the execution plans to proactively seek out and sell new opportunities.

Analyzing key departmental metrics is a critical element of this role. Proactively monitoring results and implementing key initiatives as needed is vital to overall success of the department.

A successful candidate will be focused on winning, accountable for their goals and known for successful sales strategy, operational efficiency, strong leadership and a positive attitude

Key Performance Indicators

Division Annual Inbound BST Target, Inbound Lead Close Rate, Lead Conversion Rate, Call handling within service levels, Staffing levels, VOC along with Annual Departmental Budget Achievement.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

  • Aligns the inside sales organization's objectives with the North American Sales growth strategy through active participation in sales strategy development, forecasting, sales resource planning, and budgeting.

  • Translate the sales strategy into action for Sales Managers to increase the company's customer base and top line sales.

  • Analyses and ensures key financial and sales goals are met and provides guidance when hurdles associated with goals are encountered.

  • Analyses daily sales metrics and works with Sales Managers/Supervisors, who provide direct feedback to Sales Representatives regarding their book of business, and areas that could be improved, or expanded upon, or tools that could be properly utilized.

  • Drives sales results by measuring sales revenues, leading & motivating the sales floor and ensuring that current SOP's are followed and new SOP's are established according to the needs of the business and through collaboration with the Sales Operations.

  • Trains and educates Inside Sales Managers across RNA, by providing guidance and opportunities to lead the sales training team to increase and enhance their knowledge and skills to build succession planning within the Sales department.

  • Develops and ensures all KPI's that drive production on the sales team are monitored and used to drive accountability.

  • Oversees, participates in and approves the interviewing, hiring and training of departmental employees. Conducts performance evaluations for direct reports and provides subordinate managers coaching & assistance in the areas of disciplinary action.

  • Provides leadership to the Inside Sales organization, embodying RNA values, and fostering a culture of accountability, professional development, high-performance, and ethical behavior.

CANDIDATE SUMMARY

Required Experience

  • Successful experience as a sales team leader at a rapidly growing professional services organization.

  • 10+ years' experience as an Inside Sales Manager, Sales Leader, and / or Sales Management, with a mix of business-to-business and business-to-customer in a professional services sales environment

  • 5+ years in sales leadership Inside Sales Leadership experience

  • Proven history of driving sales results and achieving goals

  • Must possess superior verbal and written communication skills.

  • Experience in effectively collaborating with internal and external stakeholders

  • Proven success in a dynamic, fast paced environment

  • Willingness to travel a minimum of 25%

Required Leadership Traits and Characteristics

  • Excellent organizational skills with a heightened sense of attention to detail are key characteristics of the perfect candidate

  • Strong interpersonal skills that allow for healthy internal and external relationships are a must

Formal Education, Qualifications or Training

  • Four year college degree from an accredited institution.

  • Master in Business Administration or equivalent.
