Pay Rate: $25.49 - $40.31 per hour

Shift: 6 PM - 6 AM (12-hour rotating shifts)

Week 1: Sunday, Monday, Thursday, Friday | Week 2: Saturday, Tuesday, Wednesday

Every shop needs someone to run the machines - and that's where you come in. As a Press Operator, you'll keep production rolling while cashing steady paychecks.

Bring to the Table:

• Thorough knowledge of Flexographic printing procedures, materials, specifications, equipment, and safety requirements, and skills to perform assignments
• Skill to read and understand job specifications and knowledge of press capabilities to determine the most appropriate press usage, press settings, and materials needed to run the job successfully
• Skill to make a variety of difficult, precise web paths and adjustments, and to perform routine operational maintenance of equipment
• Skill in routine operational maintenance and minor repairs to equipment
• Knowledge of basic computer skills, Excel, Word, and Google (preferred)
• Skill in the use of Mark Andy, Aquaflex, Comco, and Webtron (preferred)
• Stamina to lift and stand through the shift
• Team player who shows up and works safely

Essential Functions

• The position is responsible for setting up, adjusting, operating, and maintaining several pieces of press equipment
• Perform all make-ready tasks associated with the Flexographic press operated, such as mounting plates or installing print cylinders, examining plates/cylinders for imperfections, checking for correct positioning of images, prepping web paths, adjusting tension, and register, etc.
• Make necessary color correction, anilox adjustment, and/or press adjustments before production run to meet and maintain the quality specifications of the work
• Clean, lubricate, and maintain the press, making minor repairs and replacing worn or broken parts as required
• Performs periodic maintenance recommended by the manufacturer
