Required Skills and Qualifications
* Minimum of 3-5 years' experience with any one of the following: EAR, ITAR, OFAC, BATFE, Customs regulations, and Foreign Trade Regulations * Bachelor's Degree required. One year of relevant professional-level work experience may be substituted for one year of required education. Relevant professional-level experience is defined as work experience must be at a professional-level in Import Export Compliance. * Ability to manage multiple requirements and remain composed under pressure * Ability to grasp and articulate technical concepts both verbally and in writing * Demonstrated ability to participate in multi-functional teams working to solve complex export/import problems and drive issues to conclusions * Knowledge navigating and interpreting any of the following: Export Administration Regulations (EAR), International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR), Foreign Trade Regulations (FTR), Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (BATFE), and the US Customs Regulations * Team player, self-starter, communications, and customer service skills * Knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) * Ability to travel, if requested
Desired Skills and Qualifications
* Licensed Customs Broker highly desired. * Experienced in determining jurisdiction and classification of technologies as well as analyzing qualifications for license exemptions and exceptions.
