Job Title: Regional Sales Manager, East - 3rd Eye

Operating Company: Environmental Solutions Group - 3rd Eye

Reports to: Director, Regional Sales, East

Department: Sales and Marketing

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Regional Sales Manager is responsible for driving the growth of sales and market share for 3rd Eye Subscriptions, 3rd Eye Digital Gateways, 3rd Eye Cameras, and 3rd Eye hardware parts within the assigned Area of Responsibility (AOR) through the Connected Collections strategy. This role is accountable for all sales activities in the assigned AOR, including the effective management of distributors and direct sales personnel, ensuring both represent 3rd Eye with excellence in their respective markets. Candidates located in the Eastern region are strongly preferred.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS INCLUDE:

  • Lead and grow sales performance for 3rd Eye products, including hardware, software, and aftermarket solutions, ensuring achievement of revenue and market share targets.

  • Direct and oversee customer-facing software pilots, ensuring they are executed according to customer-defined success criteria and deliver expected outcomes.

  • Guide product development activities by gathering customer feedback (VOC), monitoring prototype trials, and providing strategic input to enhance offerings.

  • Ensure CRM accuracy and utilization, maintaining reliable customer data and leveraging insights for sales strategy.

  • Oversee quote preparation and submission processes, ensuring timeliness, accuracy, and alignment with customer requirements.

  • Manage margins and discounting practices, enforcing compliance with established processes to protect profitability.

  • Collaborate with the Regional Sales Director on credit and collections activities as needed.

  • Champion 3rd Eye policies and procedures related to warranty, discounting, parts procurement, returns, order processing, and related areas.

  • Ensure timely execution of technical campaigns across the assigned territory.

  • Coordinate closely with the customer success team to ensure seamless transitions from sales to account management.

  • Lead training coordination efforts, ensuring onboarded customers achieve expectations and maximize the value of 3rd Eye technology.

  • Monitor and manage expense budgets, ensuring territory expenses remain aligned with sales goals and profitability targets.

  • This role requires up to 60% of travel.

JOB SPECIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree in business management, Marketing, or related field required; Engineering degree and/or MBA preferred.

  • 5-7 years of progressive sales or account management experience, ideally in technology, heavy equipment, or related industries.

  • Experience in the refuse, fleet software, fleet management, or heavy truck industry is a strong plus.

  • Demonstrated leadership skills with proven ability to manage and develop sales teams and distributor relationships.

  • Strong communication, organizational, and relationship-building skills.

  • Ability to work collaboratively with Regional Sales Directors and other managers to achieve growth targets.

  • Proficiency with CRM systems and structured sales processes.

Applies a sense of urgency to resolve problems or creates opportunities that will increase productivity and create value. Shares best practices with other employees across the business.
