Overview

Bancroft is currently seeking a Onboarding Specialist/Talent Acquisition Associate to join our HR Team.

The Talent Acquisition Associate will work as part of Bancroft's Talent Acquisition Team within the Human Resources Department. This role is responsible to ensure all new hires are 100% in compliance with all pre-boarding requirements by applicable deadlines. Regularly communicate with new hires, Talent Acquisition Partners, HR team members, Occupational Health, third-party vendors, regulatory bodies, and others throughout the organization. Based on overall workload and the needs of the team, the Talent Acquisition Associate will also take part in day to day recruitment activities and assist recruiters with screening candidates, organizing reports, taking part in recruitment events and other duties as assigned.



Responsibilities

    Actively engage with all new hires in a clear and supportive manner to achieve their completion of all pre-boarding requirements and tasks in an efficient manner, and within prescribed timelines.
  • Ensure each new hire is making appropriate progress, and successfully completes all pre-boarding requirements items, to include background checks, fingerprinting, coordinating physical appointments with Occupational Health, drug tests, employment verification, etc.
  • Work cohesively with HR Leaders and Talent Acquisition on continuously improving the overall candidate and new hire experience.
  • Report new hire's pre-boarding progress daily to the Talent Acquisition team at large to mitigate issues and communicate back to the program.
  • Provide exceptional daily customer service to support new hires with navigating the pre-boarding process, maintaining regular contact by phone, email and text message.
  • Work and communicate with our background check vendor to resolve issues or questions.
  • Coordinate and facilitate new employee I-9 documentation at New Hire Orientation biweekly.
  • Track the status of outstanding new hire requirements, and work with candidates, Talent Acquisition Partners and/or department hiring managers and other third parties (as applicable) to complete requirements timely.
  • Scan new employee records into an electronic filing system.
  • As appropriate, assist with various recruiting activities, to include but not be limited to: Coordinating recruitment events, and assisting in the execution of planning, booking space and advertising; Phone screening applicants for front line positions and scheduling qualified candidates for interviews with hiring managers;Conducts pre employment screens.
  • Other duties supporting the overall Talent Acquisition Team as assigned.

Salary Range: $24 - $29



Qualifications

Education & Experience:

Associates Degree or equivalent; Experience in a previous Talent Acquisition function may be considered in lieu of a degree.

Special Skills:

Strong organizational skills, a positive customer service approach, initiative, and ability to multitask and regularly reprioritize to meet changing needs and workload demands. The ability to effectively work with deadlines and effectively manage stress is an essential element of this role. Intermediate computer skills, to include standard office applications such as Gmail, Google Docs, Google Sheets or other similar platforms. Valid driver's license required in incumbent's legal name and current address with no provisional restrictions. Minimum 18 years of age required.
