This position will work a hybrid schedule which includes a combination of working both onsite at Towne Centre Drive and remote. This position requires 24/7 on-call onsite availability. The Welcome Lead will head an innovative team to establish a new foundation for advancing patient care delivery and quality outcomes. The candidate will also support the optimization of our patient portal, MyChart, and MyChart Bedside. Will have in-depth knowledge of the Epic Welcome, MyChart application, medical center operations, and workflows, providing continued, timely work on our Digital Front Door initiatives, MyChart integrations, and the Questionnaire Governance model, and optimizing industry trends and enterprise needs for future Welcome initiatives. The Lead Welcome Analyst will be responsible for maintenance and break/fixes associated with the Epic Welcome application. The Lead analyst will also be responsible for the maintenance and troubleshooting of Welcome in the Kuiper deployment application. The Analyst will work closely with the team's senior application analysts and clinical leaders to translate business needs into EMR functionality. The incumbent will perform testing and detailed quality assurance on the Welcome application before releasing new functionality to end users. Review vendor software releases and updates to determine desired features and implement them within UC San Diego Health system(s). I will also participate in training end-users. Will provide 7/24 problem management support and resolution for Welcome. The Welcome Lead Analyst will be responsible for standardizing, implementing, and enhancing cutting-edge technologies and supporting our Welcome application; the candidate will also support our MyChart application. This position will directly work on Self-Arrival and Digital Door workflows in all Ambulatory locations, specifically for the expansion of our Self Arrival locations. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
