What to Expect
OurRetail Electricity businessempowerscustomersto reduce the cost of ownership of their Tesla products(like Powerwall, Tesla EVs, and solar panels)through Tesla's electricity plans. We are not the standard Retail Electricity Provider.Wesetup the first Virtual Power Plant in Texas through the ERCOT Aggregated Distributed Energy Resource (ADER) project. We arehyper focused on innovativeand automatedsolutions that enable customers to shift their energy consumption profile inwaysthat maximize bill savings, individualenergy security, and grid stability. Weare a small to medium sized Retail Electricity Provider (REP) inTexasand we supply both residential and commercial meters. As we continue to grow our business, we are seeking a detail-oriented operations specialist to ensure seamless day-to-day operations, compliance, and customer satisfaction.

What You'll Do
  • Serve as a technical and operationalspecialist that coordinates with Energy Customer Support, Product Management,Grid Services,and Engineering teams
  • Manage & resolve ERCOT enrollment exceptions, including InadvertentGains & Losses
  • Support billing operations, including manual interventions where automation is not complete
  • Generate operational reports & alerts to enable business efficiency and efficacy
  • Handle escalated customer support cases that require detailed technical troubleshooting to ensure positive customer outcomes & compliance with retail electricity standards
  • Accumulate, organize, and analyze data on pressing operational issues to aid prioritization of feature requests & priorities with product and engineering leadership
  • Collaborate with the broader Grid Services team to identify & implement process improvements, mitigate risks, and enhance overall program scalability in a lean environment

What You'll Bring
  • Degree inBusiness, Engineering, Energy Management, or a related field, or equivalent experience
  • 1-3years ofdirect experience in retail electricity operations (e.g.at an electricity retailer, utility, or similar organization)
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills, with the ability to thrive in a lean, fast-paced setting, while prioritizing positive customer outcomes & regulatory adherence
  • Proven ability to handle technical troubleshooting and data organization for operational insights
  • Proficient in data analytics and tools like SQL, Excel,Ziplabs, Tableau, or other reporting software
