JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS Penn State Lehigh Valley, Academic Affairs has a need for a highly qualified part-time faculty to teach a variety of courses in Biology, including but not limited to Anatomy and Physiology lecture and laboratory and General Biology lecture and laboratory. For Fall 2026, the selected candidate(s) will teach introductory A&P course, both lecture and laboratory. The ideal candidates should be open to offering flexibility in course scheduling and methods of course delivery; however, this position is required to be taught in-person. Requirements include the minimum of an earned Master's degree in Biology or a closely-related field, with a PhD preferred. Preference will be given to candidates with demonstrated excellence in teaching at the college level. Employment with the University will require successful completion of background checks in accordance with University policy. The review process will begin immediately and continue until the positions are filled. The ASR includes crime statistics and institutional policies concerning campus security, such as those concerning alcohol and drug use, crime prevention, the reporting of crimes, sexual assault, and other matters.
