Position Title: CNC Operator
Wage: $21.00 - $24.00/hour Shift: 2nd Hours: 3:25pm - 1:55am Are your skills not being fully utilized? Reach your maximum potential by working with QPS! We are seeking a skilled CNC Operator to join our dynamic manufacturing team in Racine, WI. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical background and experience with CNC machinery. This role is crucial in ensuring that our production processes run smoothly and efficiently, contributing to the overall quality of our products. The CNC Operator will work closely with other team members to meet production goals while adhering to safety and quality standards. CNC Operator Responsibilities: - Understand basic control features including emergency stop, reset, cycle start, feed hold, coolant status and program status - Set, adjust, and install tools; install and secure fixtures - Loading and unloading material as instructed - Identify and achieve proper deburring requirements using power and hand tools - Perform and record inspections specified on PDR (Process Data Records) using gauges required - Maintain clean and organized work area - Clean chips from machine as needed, fill coolant levels, clean bench and sweep floors - Log labor into MES stations - Perform minor maintenance on machines such as coolant levels, coolant concentration and screens - Set up, calibrate, and operate machinery and equipment according to established procedures and safety guidelines Requirements for CNC Operator: - High School Diploma or equivalent - At least one year of experience in CNC operation - Able to lift up to 50lbs - Able to maneuver parts weighing 60+ lbs with the assistance of a hoist - Good communication skills - Able to multitask - Basic programming knowledge of M&G Code - Strong attention to detail - Mechanical aptitude and good math skills racine@qpsemployment.com IND012 QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the United States.
