Position Title: Packer
Wage: $16.25/hour Shift: 1st or 2nd Hours: 5:00am - 1:00pm or 1:00pm - 9:00pm (Monday - Friday) Reached a dead end at your current job? Check out how this position can create a new path! QPS Employment Group has a great opportunity available for a Packer at a company in Elkhart Lake, WI. This is a potential to hire position for 1st or 2nd shift. Apply today! Packer Responsibilities: - Preparing cartons in the correct size according to production tickets and applying accurate labels - Packing finished rolls into cartons and onto pallets based on ticket specifications - Inspecting products during packaging and reporting any quality concerns to the machine operator and/or supervisor - Accurately documenting and tracking cartons and pallets using the company tracking system - Verifying and recoding correct counts of finished rolls and cartons - Using basic math skills and calculators to support production tracking - Learning and operating shrink wrap equipment, including performing changeovers and adjustments - Assisting machine operators as needed to maintain efficient workflow Requirements for Packer: - Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy and maintain quality standards - Strong communication skills - Ability to stand for 8-10 hours; lifting 50 pounds regularly - Basic math skills - Previous experience in manufacturing industry preferred sheboygan@qpsemployment.com IND045 QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the United States.
