Position Summary

Manages the day-to-day administration of Loan Repayment Assistance Program (LRAP); Supervisors the work of the LRAP counselor; Counsels applicants, students and graduates on borrowing implications; Oversees the day-to-day operations of complex LRAP awarding; Determines applicant eligibility and awards LRAP assistance; Assists the Director with the development of program policies, guidelines, and reporting requirements. Creates and edits publications and related communications. Assists the Director in staff development, mentorship, and other duties and projects as may be assigned.



Qualifications

Required Education:
Bachelor's Degree

Required Experience:
5+ years related experience including experience in academic advisement, counseling, and financial aid or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Preferred Experience:
3+ years experience in a corporate or comparable graduate business school environment.

Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
Excellent interpersonal, communication and organizational skills. Must be proficient in analyzing figures and statistical information. Demonstrated writing ability. Proficiency using word processing and database software.



Additional Information

In compliance with NYC's Pay Transparency Act, the annual base salary range for this position is USD $80,000 to USD $100,000. New York University considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, as well as, market and organizational considerations when extending an offer. This pay range represents base pay only and excludes any additional items such as incentives, bonuses, clinical compensation, or other items.
