The Photo and Video Intern is a member of the Brand + Creative team, the hospital's in-house agency, and is responsible for assisting in the production aspects of communications that powerfully reflect the passion, integrity and mission of our brand. Assists on a range of photography and video projects for internal and external communications, coordinating photo and video shoots and helping to manage team schedules. This position requires excellent organization and an ability and willingness to communicate with a broad range of photo/video participants, including physicians and team members, executives, patients, families and more.
- Job Status: Temporary. Up to 40 hours per week. Hybrid
- Program Duration: May 2026 - August 2026
- Shift:
- Monday-Friday, 8:00am-4:00pm, potential need to cover an evening or weekend event 1-2 times during the duration
- Monday, Thursday, Friday: remote/WFH. Potential need to come onsite as photo/video shoots require. Tuesday - Wednesday: required on-site/in-office
Duties & Responsibilities
Helps to coordinate photo and video projects, guiding overarching project timelines and facilitating the photo/video team's production and post-production schedules.
Serves as the main point of contact for the photo/video team for project participants, project owners and project managers.
Assists in communicating with photo/video team, project requestors and talent/subjects to schedule video shoots efficiently, creating shoot schedules and updating production book schedule pages accordingly.
Coordinates production logistics for photo and video shoots, including locations, wardrobe and prop purchases, craft services, etc.
Communicates with project management team on project updates and escalate roadblocks as it pertains to schedules.
As needed, serves as on-set production coordinator/producer for photo and video shoots.
As needed, serves as bench photographer/videographer, capturing basic assets and working on light photo cropping and retouching when team availability calls for it .
Facilitates quick requests for photo downloads, light retouches and resizing.
Helps to manage Video Production Studio schedule with other production teams and external groups.
Assists in managing digital asset management system.
Minimum Qualifications

- Must currently be enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program in film, TV, media, cinematography, photojournalism or related field
Salary Information
Pay is dependent on applicant's relevant experience.
Hourly Rate: $20 / hour
