Requirements

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:



  • Master's degree in clinical psychology, counseling psychology, psychology, addictions studies, social work or related field with specialty or concentration in counseling is required.
  • Professional License (i.e., LPC, LSW, LCSW, LMFT, Licensed Psychologist), or license from PA Certification Board (i.e., CAAC, CADC, CAADC, CCS) will need to be achieved within 2-3 years of hire is required.
  • Experience working with clients who have a substance use disorder diagnosis preferred.
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record required.


You will work full-time onsite at our 4th Street Parkside Recovery program Monday-Friday: 7 am to 3:30 pm

Description

We are seeking a master's level Drug and Alcohol Therapist to join our recovery program in Philadelphia, PA 19122.




Join a compassionate, growthminded Recovery Program where therapists are truly supported. In this role, you'll be part of a collaborative team helping individuals on their recovery journey through our MAT (MedicationAssisted Treatment) program. You'll build meaningful therapeutic connections while working in an environment where leaders invest in your development and professional growth every step of the way.


In this role, you will:



  • provide individual and group therapy to clients in substance abuse recovery, helping them overcome challenges, build resilience, and achieve lasting sobriety through tailored interventions. You will
  • maintain a manageable caseload,
  • conducting assessments,
  • creating personalized treatment plans, and
  • ensuring clients receive the support and resources needed to sustain their recovery goals.
