This is a hybrid role with the expectation that time working will regularly take place inside and outside of a company office.

This position promotes and sells Foreign Exchange services through personal sales efforts and relationship business banking development. Responsible for the continuous growth of retail, private wealth, and commercial FX services. Generates significant fee income to drive revenue, with a focus on the Bank's conversion of outgoing wires from USD to foreign currencies. Supports and trains retail branch network on service offerings. Advises branch network on best practices for identifying potential FX conversions through various methods including training, demos and presentations

Responsibilities

* Consistently seek out and pursue new business opportunities, leveraging market intelligence and industry trends to identify potential clients & opportunities
* Proactively develop and maintain strong relationships with key clients and prospects including internal partners such as branch personnel, Business Bankers and Commercial bankers.
* Demonstrate knowledge of FX products, pricing, and risk factors. Work with internal partners to educate and empower to identify FX opportunities within their books of business.
* Be a key contributor within FX sales team by leveraging analytics to drive pipeline building, deeper client engagement and new opportunity identification/qualification into our target growth markets
* Analyze client activity and identify trends and opportunities to prioritize new business leads and opportunities.
* Price client trades and take client orders and partner effectively with the FX trading team to manage market risk. Input client deals in internal system of record as required
* Stay abreast of market conditions to drive client awareness of key market themes and short-term and long-term market drivers.
* Partner with Enterprise Business Analytics, Product Analytics and Sales Enablement/Operations to create tools, insights and opportunities to drive revenue
* Maintain and evolve portfolio management capabilities through continuous enhancement of sales reporting.
* Establish working relationships within the FX team and with cross-functional partners to support the definition and delivery of our Global FX sales and business strategy
* Become familiar with the evolving FX, Fintech and Banking landscape to overlay industry insights


Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree and 1 years of experience OR High School Diploma or GED and 5 years of experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

* BS/BA Degree - (e.g., Economics, Mathematics, Statistics)
* Interest in the Financial Markets, FX and Cross Border Payments industries and Sales.
* 2+ years' relevant experience in FX sales or trading
* Effective, concise and personable communication skills, both verbal and written to support both client and internal stakeholder engagement
* Aptitude for answering business questions with analytics and translating to actionable sales and revenue opportunities
* Strong presentation and relationship building skills with an ability to interface with senior leadership
* Experience using and developing reports, metrics, and dashboards with data analytics, data visualization, programming and presentation tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI, SQL, Python, Tableau etc.)
* Creative, strategic thinker with deep intellectual curiosity
* Ability to execute with an entrepreneurial spirit
