Overview
The HR Process Analyst supports the assessment and development of processes, identifies areas for continuous improvement and develops process documentation in support of current and future state processes. This position assists with evaluating operational processes and data in collaboration with department staff using Lean Six Sigma methodologies or similar discipline. Supports cross-functional project goals by applying value stream mapping, root cause analysis, and lean methodologies to business needs.
Responsibilities
- In collaboration with HR subject matter experts, gathers requirements, analyzes, identifies, and recommends improvements or enhancements to optimize processes. Communicates clearly with management and HR COEs to implement change across the department.
- Develops process-related documentation, including process workflows, job aids, internal procedures, training materials and presentations.
- HR ARIS expert: Serves on the cross-functional implementation team for the implementation and adoption of ARIS . Serves as the "modeler for HR and converts our future state maps into the pre-production environment . Assists implementation team in testing, design and user feedback on functionality and training .
- Create/load HR process maps into ARIS to function as visual procedure aids and maps that align to RCSA.
- Reviews data/trends and analyzes metrics data - trending, response time, quality, integrity articles visited, etc. to support continuous improvement recommendations to leadership.
- Team member on process improvement projects. May lead special projects, serving as a resource to Human Resources organization. Utilize expertise to provide guidance, feedback, and direction on complex matters.
- May support project manager on large process improvement projects. May lead consultative projects with an impact across the department. Aligns project strategies and results with wider organizational needs. Determines methods to gauge and report on project success.
- Works with Risk partners on approach for aligning HR process maps with RCSA at the right level with the right risks/controls . Rewrite/adjust controls where necessary and document in systems of record (ARCHER & ARIS) .
- Consults and partners with business and provides complex analysis and decision support to business on key priorities. Interacts and collaborates with multiple disciplines to gather information, perform analysis, and makes recommendations to management to drive continuous improvement.
- Communicates clearly with management and HR COEs to implement change across the department.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree and 4 years of experience in Prior banking experience, Process improvement, consulting or project management OR High School Diploma or GED and 8 years of experience in Prior banking experience, Process improvement, consulting or project management
Preferred Qualifications
- Lean Six Sigma experience or similar discipline is preferred
- Knowledge of Project Management and change management principles and methods
- BPMN process mapping skills. ARIS systems experience preferred
- Ability to work on multiple projects concurrently with little or no direction to drive project and program initiatives
- Ability to facilitate meetings of high complexity, Possess strong analytical, organizational, and planning skills
- APQC knowledge strongly preferred
- Strong verbal and written communications skills and presentation skills required
- Excellent PC skills including MS Office suite
- Prior HR policies and practices experience strongly preferred
- ServiceNow experience preferred
- Ability to collaborate effectively across all levels of management
