General Description:

Texas Gulf Bank is seeking a Summer Intern for a paid, full-time, 10-week internship this summer. This opportunity is designed for students interested in building a long-term career in community banking and gaining meaningful, real-world experience across a variety of banking functions.

As an intern at Texas Gulf Bank, you will be actively involved in the day-to-day work of a community bank, gaining exposure to real decisions and real relationships. You will also participate in departmental rotations across the bank, gaining broad exposure in multiple areas, with the program culminating in a focus on credit where you will assist with analysis and support of live loan requests.

  • Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail
  • Willingness to ask questions and learn in a professional environment
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
  • Professional communication skills
  • Dependable, inquisitive, and motivated to engage in meaningful work

Educational Requirements:

  • Junior or Senior currently enrolled in an accredited college or university
  • While preferred majors include Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or related fields, students from any academic background are encouraged to apply.
