A Brief Overview

The Center for Data-Driven Discovery in Biomedicine (D3b - d3b.center) at Children's Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP) is dedicated to accelerating pediatric research through innovative data infrastructure and collaborative science. Our mission is to provide researchers with robust, scalable platforms that enable groundbreaking discoveries in childhood diseases and improve outcomes for children worldwide.

D3b seeks an experienced Data Integration Analyst to join a multi-disciplinary team of data scientists, engineers, and analysts in the Advanced Data Applications and Platforms Technologys Unit (ADAPT) committed to accelerating treatments and cures for children with cancer. The hire will lead collaborative efforts with other institutions to develop and implement harmonized data models for interventional radiology and other cancer treatment data. The data integration analyst will also work with other analysts and engineers to develop and maintain data warehouses and data ingest and harmonization pipelines to support the collection, integration, quality control and reuse of multimodal clinical and research data.

The ideal candidate will have experience with data modeling and data harmonization practices. They will be able to think and plan strategically to achieve long term goals by defining clear milestones and quickly delivering iterative solutions. As a level III, the candidate will also be expected to serve as a project team lead in a highly matrixed research environment, including direct interaction with clinicians and biomedical researchers, and to mentor junior staff and student workers.
