Basic Job Functions: Provides analytical, configuration, and support for First Solar's Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS). Resolve issues with a customer focused attitude and strong sense of quality. Acts as a primary CMMS support team member for local/global issues and company expansion Education/Experience:
- 4 year degree in Engineering, IT, Business Management, or related field OR
- 2 year technical degree in a maintenance discipline with CMMS experience OR
- 2 to 5 year's experience in maintenance or planning
- Strong background in work management, asset management, mobile applications, and spare parts inventory systems.
- Solid technical understanding of plant operations and system processes.
- Proven leadership experience in maintenance planning and department operations.
- Working knowledge of reporting tools and application development, including both structured and object-oriented programming concepts.
Required Skills/Competencies:
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- CMMS configuration and deployment experience.
- Knowledge of preventive maintenance and emergency work management.
- Problem-solving and analytical skills (independent and collaborative).
- Ability to manage multiple tasks ensuring safety, quality, and schedule adherence.
- Effective collaboration with internal/external partners.
- Ability to define/document and implement system policies and procedures.
- Willingness to learn and manage other business systems.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Anticipate future system needs; evaluate, prioritize, and coordinate projects.
- Coordinate internal/external resources for upgrades, enhancements, and major issues.
- Develop clear processes and automate enhancements/upgrades.
- Train plant personnel on CMMS usage.
- Deploy CMMS globally and support administration.
- Lead/participate in cross-functional teams for process improvement.
- Document system operations and troubleshooting procedures.
- Provide feedback for system enhancements based on usage and failure analysis.
- Ensure compliance with work management standards.
- Collaborate with other departments and suppliers.
- Maintain effective communication and foster team building.
- Adhere to safety and housekeeping standards.
- Perform other assignments as required
Reporting Relationships:
- This position may have direct reports.
Travel:
- 0% - 5% (On occasion/as needed for training, etc.)
- If hired during plant start up, you will be expected to travel to other First Solar locations for training.
Estimated Salary Range:
- $62,500 - $89,000, Annually

- Will sit, stand, or walk short distances for up to 12 hours per day.
- Will climb stairs or steps on a frequent basis.
- Will lift up to 58 pounds on an occasional basis, according to work instruction.
- Will lift up to 37 pounds on a frequent basis.

- Required to use hands to grasp, lift, handle, carry or feel objects on a frequent basis.
- 20/40 vision in both eyes (with or without correction) and the ability to distinguish between red, yellow, and green is required.

- May stoop, kneel, or bend, on an occasional basis.
- Must comply with all safety standards and procedures.
- Ability to wear personal protective equipment is required (including, but not limited to: steel-toed shoes, cut-resistant gloves, jackets, aprons &/or arm guards, safety glasses or goggles, hearing protection & respirators) and a condition of employment and continued employment (may require little or no facial hair).
