Printpack is seeking a qualified candidate to fill the position of Human Resources Manager. This position will be located in Williamsburg VA and will report to the HR Operations Manager.

The selected candidate will be required to excel as a member of the HR Team; supporting company initiatives and administering HR programs to all associates, while providing exceptional levels of strategic HR partnership to plant leadership.

It is expected that the successful candidate will manage the Human Resources function at the facility including the development and execution of HR strategy and objectives as well as work with the Plant Leadership Team to achieve plant goals and strategy. Key Responsibilities: Talent Development & Performance Management:
  • Partner with learning and development teams to develop training strategies aligned with business goals

  • Deliver 1:1 and small group training on leadership and professional development topics

  • Lead annual performance review process and coach managers on constructive feedback, high-potential identification, and underperformance coaching

  • Guide leaders on performance coaching, PIPs, IDPs, talent reviews, succession planning, and merit planning

Recruitment &StrategicWorkforcePlanning:
  • Plan and implement recruitment and selection efforts in partnership with Talent Acquisition and business units

  • Educate hiring managers about selection processes and provide hiring recommendations

  • Take proactive measures to ensure workforce diversity

  • Provide guidance on workforce planning, organizational redesign, job analysis, and promotions

Compensation & BenefitsLeadership:
  • Approve offer letters and collaborate with the recruiting team and hiring managers to implement the compensation philosophy

  • Conduct internal equity analysis both locally and across the company

  • Manage the annual merit increase process andrecommendpromotions andoff-cyclepay increases

  • Manage andleadall benefit activities and communications, including open enrollment and wellness programs

Compliance &Strategic HR Management:
  • Overseecompliancewith all federal, state, and corporate policies/procedures

  • Manage complex employee relations issues, including conducting investigations and progressive discipline processes

  • Leadimplementation of strategic HRplanand design HR programs to support Printpack culture

  • Analyze data across HR systems toidentifytrends and guide decision-making

  • Develop presentations and communicate analysis to leadership teams

ProgramManagement and Community Relations:
  • Drive safety programs and steward a culture of safety

  • Support local Social Responsibility programsas needed

  • Support local Food Safety initiatives and programs as necessary

  • Support and uphold the Printpack Statement of Philosophy and Expectations of Our Leaders

Minimum Qualifications: Education&Experience:
  • Bachelor's Degreeor equivalent experience

RequiredSkills:
  • PreviousSupervisory Experience preferred

    HRCertificationpreferred(PHR, SHRM-CP, etc.)

    Experience in employee relations, conflict management, investigations, and coaching at all levels

    Proficiencyin HR systems, compliance requirements, compensation management, and talentstrategies

  • Comprehensive understanding of federal, state, and local employment laws

  • Business acumen and a thorough understanding of organizational hierarchy and compensation practices

  • Strong leadership, collaboration, and coaching skills

  • Data analysis and presentation skills with strategic planning abilities

  • Problem-solving and critical thinking for complex situation analysis

  • Strong relationship-building and communication skills

  • Advanced data analysis and presentation capabilities

  • Training facilitation and coaching capabilities

  • Investigation and conflict resolutionexpertise

  • Project management and strategic planning abilities

  • Knowledge of safety programs andcompliance requirements

  • Ability to transition from high-level strategic thinking to hands-on implementation andassistanceon HR strategies

  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion

  • Willingness to work flexible hours to meet business needs

  • Ability to influence and guide leaders at all organizational levels
