Staffmark is hiring a Strategic Sourcing Assistant seeking temporary employment (through the end of April). This Strategic Sourcing Assistant supports cost-effective purchasing decisions that keep operations competitive and efficient. Key Skills & Qualifications

• Education: Background in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Technical Proficiency:Strong command ofMicrosoft Excel(VLOOKUPs, pivot tables) and familiarity with procurement software
• Soft Skills:Exceptional attention to detail, effective communication for supplier negotiations, and the ability to work collaboratively across functions like finance and manufacturing

Core Responsibilities and Role

• Data Analysis & Reporting:Perform spend analysis and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify cost-saving opportunities.
• RFx Support: Assist in the creation and distribution of Requests for Proposal (RFPs), Information (RFIs), and Quotes (RFQs), and help prepare incoming bids.
• Contract Management:Maintain organized records of vendor contracts, monitor expiration dates, and assist in preparing documentation for renewals as requested
• Daily Operations: Serve as a support point of contact for suppliers to resolve day-to-day issues and ensure the accurate entry of data into ERP systems in Oracle
