We are looking for a Manager of Business Systems and Continuous Improvement to lead a high-performing team in transforming how we serve our customers. In this pivotal role, you won't just manage systems like SAP and Salesforce-you will be the architect of our operational excellence. Your Working Environment:

A suburb just outside the Dallas-Fort Worth metropolitan area is home to Airbus Helicopters U.S. regional headquarters, where we have more than 1,000 employees. Your Challenges:

Manage Business Systems: 35%

  • Lead the data system management, including maintenance & leading change management initiatives including required testing programs;

  • Utilize business process knowledge and E-Commerce experience to successfully resolve and implement changes to the SAP, Airbus World and WebMRO or any other platform such as Smart Sheets, Firori, Sales Force, etc.

  • Utilize testing methodologies, processes and tools for testing of functionality while maintaining the value and goals of unit, integration, system and regression testing;

  • Work with desktop applications including spreadsheets and presentation toolkits;

  • Lead internal groups to ensure all e-Commerce functionalities and reporting needs are being met;

  • Drumbeat with transversal departments in developing processes that are efficient with SAP;

  • Utilize business process knowledge and E-Commerce experience to successfully resolve and implement changes to the SAP, Airbus World

  • Utilize testing methodologies, processes and tools for testing of functionality while maintaining the value and goals of unit, integration, system and regression testing;

  • Prepare specifications to initiate changes in SAP and all e-Commerce programs;

  • Interface any recommendations in SAP, Airbus World and e-commerce solutions;

  • Recommend, design, and plan new system developments in conjunction with the users, functional areas and MIS department;

  • Draft system change requests and functional specifications;

  • Schedule and manage the development and user testing of developed solutions in SAP;

  • Coordinate the go-live for departments as required, by managing and in collaboration with AHI SAP Functional Specialist, Airbus Systems Support Specialist and SAP Information Management team;

  • Develop, implement and monitor key performance indicators for the related functions.

  • Perform market trend analysis on flight hour path for all customers

Manage Continuous Improvement: 35%

  • Provide guidance to the Continuous Improvement Manager in the definition of as-Is situations, conduct gaps analysis and mapping processes.

  • Build a culture of employee engagement and continuous improvement; leads and direct process improvement activities that provide more efficient and streamlined workflow.

  • Manage cross-functional projects and initiatives to address complex challenges that span multiple departments, such as improving the end-to-end customer experience.

  • Facilitate and lead meetings with cross-functional teams to identify and solve complex business problems through process improvement.

  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement excellence within the Front Office organization.

  • Lead different teams to ensure that process changes and improvements are effectively communicated and implemented.

  • Provide regular updates, reports, and presentations to the executive leadership team on the different improvement initiatives.

Strategy and Leadership: 30%

  • Strategically lead the implementation and execution of business systems and continuous improvement initiatives and/or end-to-end cross-functional process improvement initiatives.

  • Lead and manage the Business Systems and Continuous Improvement team by providing guidance, training and support to ensure a high level of competence and motivation within team members.

  • Participate in the development and implementation of a comprehensive strategy that will drive change, build the foundation of the future and overall improve ways of working with the ultimate goal of improving customer satisfaction.

Your Boarding Pass:

Education Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Engineering, Information Systems or Business or related disciplines or a combination of education and equivalent relevant work experience

  • Minimum of five (5) years' work experience in related fields such as SAP Specialist, Systems or Support Trainer, or Business improvement or equivalent relevant work experience

  • Minimum of two (2) years of management experience

  • Minimum of three (3) years' experience working in aviation maintenance practices and operations

  • Minimum of one (1) year experience in SAP

  • Google Suite environment

  • E-commerce platforms

Preferred Skills:

  • SAP Certification

  • Six Sigma

  • Green and/or Black Belt

  • Kaizen

Travel Required:

  • Minimum - Up to 10% Domestic and International

Citizenship:

  • Authorized to work in the US

Physical Requirements:

  • Onsite or remote: 90% onsite / 10% remote

  • Vision: able to see and read computer screens and other electronic equipment with screens, able to read documents, reports and engineering drawings. Daily

  • Hearing: able to participate in conversations in person and via teleconference or phone and to hear sounds on the production floor including safety warnings or alarms. Daily

  • Speaking: able to speak in conversations and meetings, deliver information and participate in communications. Daily

  • Equipment Operation (personal computer, telephone, copies, fax machine, and related office equipment and using electronic identification card to enter building floors and internal doors): able to operate most office and personal electronic equipment and some tools including production tools such as hydraulic lifts. Daily

  • Carrying: able to carry documents, tools, drawings, electronic equipment up to 20lbs/9 kgs. Daily

  • Lifting: able to lift documents, tools, drawings, electronic equipment up to 20lbs/9 kgs. Daily

  • Pushing / Pulling: able to push and pull small office furniture and some equipment and tools. Daily

  • Sitting: able to sit for long periods of time in meetings, working on the computer. Daily

  • Squatting / Kneeling: able to squat or kneel to retrieve or replace items stored on low shelving.

  • Standing: able to stand for discussions in offices or on the production floor.

  • Daily Travel: able to travel independently and at short notice. Daily

  • Walking (include routine walking such as to a shared printer to retrieve documents): able to walk through office and production areas including uneven surfaces. Daily

  • Administrative position only PPE required: Steel-toed shoes are required for all shop floor visits, appropriate hearing/eye protection may also be required when visiting the shop floor.
