Night Warehouse Supervisor - McKesson Corporation

Job Summary

The Night Warehouse Supervisor at McKesson Corporation is responsible for overseeing and coordinating all warehouse operations during the night shift. This role ensures the efficient and safe movement of pharmaceutical products, maintains high standards of productivity, and leads a team of warehouse associates to meet operational goals.

Job Responsibilities

* Supervise, train, and motivate a team of warehouse associates during the night shift, ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures.
* Plan, organize, and monitor the receiving, storage, picking, packing, and shipping of pharmaceutical products to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.
* Optimize warehouse space utilization and material flow to maximize efficiency and productivity.
* Implement and enforce all safety regulations and company policies to maintain a safe working environment and prevent accidents.
* Conduct regular inventory checks and reconcile discrepancies, ensuring accurate inventory records.
* Operate and oversee the use of various warehouse equipment, including forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment.
* Collaborate with other departments, including day shift supervisors, transportation, and customer service, to ensure seamless operations and resolve issues.
* Prepare and submit daily operational reports, including productivity metrics, attendance, and incident reports.
* Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement solutions to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
* Perform performance evaluations for night shift staff and provide constructive feedback and coaching.

Job Qualifications

* High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field preferred.

Typically requires 3+ years ofsubject matter experienceincluding exhibiting leadershipcapabilities
* 3-5 years of experience in warehouse operations, with at least 1-2 years in a supervisory or leadership role, preferably in a fast-paced distribution environment.
* Proficiency with warehouse management systems (WMS) and other relevant software.
* Strong knowledge of inventory control principles and practices.
* Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work independently and make sound decisions under pressure.
* Proven ability to motivate and develop a team.
* Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
* Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods.
* Must be able to work the night shift, including weekends and holidays as needed.
* Forklift certification preferred.

The pay range shown below is aligned with McKesson's pay philosophy, and pay will always be compliant with any applicable regulations. $66,600 - $111,000
