Courses in the graduate program are to be fully online and asynchronous course tailored to the learning objectives of MSL graduate students studying law, and LLMs who seek to develop expertise in a specific field. The courses are intended to have a strong focus on projects, practical exercises, and case studies. Regular faculty-student interaction, accessibility, and achievement of credit hour standards are the highest priorities.

Topics covered might include subjects such as: federal and state regulation of hospitals, physicians and managed care organizations; standards of care and medical malpractice; privacy and -confidentiality; informed consent; access to care and federal/state reform proposals; public and private financing of health care; forms of health care enterprises, and end of life issues, among others. The adjunct professor will have the ability to assess the timeliness and merit of possible topics and to make choices about the scope and depth of coverage.
