Responsibilities

The Pavilion Behavioral Health System has been the leading provider of behavioral health and addictions treatment for families in Illinois since 1989. Located in Champaign, Illinois, we provide a secure, nurturing environment where children, adolescents, adults and senior adults can find hope and healing from emotional psychiatric and addictive diseases.

Our dedicated and compassionate staff provide therapeutic programming options that include individual, group and family therapy. We also offer activity and recreational therapy, psychoeducational groups and medical intervention services.

The Pavilion Foundation School

Our private day school is located on the hospital campus and provides educational services to young patients at The Pavilion. Serving children with behavioral and learning disorders, our goal is to work with each student, their family and their home school district to create successful reintegration with their former school. With a staff to student ratio of 5:1 and a maximum class size of 10 students, we strive to provide a nurturing learning environment that helps children thrive.

Position Description

To use leadership, supervisor, and administrative skills so as to promote the educational development of students and staff, to focus on the curriculum and instruction, supervision and evaluation of the individual student special education programming by staff and to serve as an educative member of a multidisciplinary treatment team.


Qualifications

Type 10 Special Education Certiifcation (required)

Illinois Type 75 Administrator Certification (required)

Behavoiral Health experience (2 years required)
