Our entertainment client is looking for a Senior Benefits Analyst for a 3 month role with potential to extend.



  • Must be able to work onsite in Santa Monica (Mon-Thu in office, Fri remote)
  • Must have benefits or HR experience


Responsibilities



  • Administration of US employee benefits, wellness, retirement and workers' comp
  • Lead robust Wellness program and act as a subject matter expert, influencing how we design and deliver our programs to support physical, emotional, and financial well-being
  • Assist with benefits and workers' compensation questions from employees and be able to resolve complex and escalated benefit issues
  • Build strong relationships and respond to escalated issues from benefit vendors and internal partners such as HR, Payroll, Finance and Legal
  • Assist with plan management and presentations, providing insights and recommendations on renewals and employee feedback
  • Use data and insights to provide feedback on competitive health and retirement benefits that enhance employee well-being, drive engagement, and manage costs
  • Review internal processes, identify inefficiencies and suggest enhancements
  • Create reports for various compliance requirements and auditing throughout the year
  • Monitor and resolve errors in file processing for enrollments, COBRA, terminations, life events
  • Act as backup for leave requests
  • Additional projects as needed


Qualifications & Skills



  • Minimum of 4 years' experience in a similar position
  • Bachelor's degree in human resources or related field
  • Highly motivated self-starter who is extremely detail oriented
  • Must have the ability to handle superior level of confidentiality concerning employee information
  • Strong ability to multi-task and meet constantly changing deadlines
  • Strong benefits experience and working knowledge of ERISA, ACA, COBRA, HIPAA, FMLA/ADA
  • High level of proficiency in Microsoft (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Excellent interpersonal skills


Nice to Haves



  • CEBS or similar certification preferred.
